Terms of Service
Last updated 25 October 2026
These terms cover this website, the waitlist, and the CleanHAR app at app.cleanhar.com (together, "CleanHAR"). By using CleanHAR, you agree to them. If you use it for your company, you agree on its behalf.
Who runs CleanHAR
CleanHAR is run by Deekshith Dekka, an individual based in India ("we", "us"). Contact us at hello@cleanhar.com.
The free pilot
CleanHAR is in an early, invitation-only pilot and is free during it. It may change, have bugs or be unavailable at times, and features may be added or removed. We'll tell pilot teams before the pilot ends or before any paid plan starts. Nothing is ever charged without your agreement first.
Accounts and sign-in
- Support agents sign in with a link sent to their work email. Keep sign-in links and customer links private, because anyone who has one can use it.
- A team's admins decide who is on the team, and they're responsible for removing people who leave.
- You're responsible for what happens under your team's account. Tell us straight away if you think someone has misused it.
Your data and your customers' data
- You own it. Diagnostics your customers send, and everything your team adds, belong to you or your customers. We only use them to run CleanHAR for you, as described in our privacy policy.
- Only ask for what you need. Send links only to your own customers, for a genuine support reason, and only where you're allowed to ask them for diagnostics.
- Cleaning is automatic but not perfect. CleanHAR removes common secrets such as cookies, login tokens and passwords before a file is sent, but it can't promise to catch every piece of sensitive data. Customers see what was removed before they send, and you should still treat diagnostics as confidential.
- Deletion. Diagnostics are deleted after 30 days, or sooner when you delete them.
Acceptable use
Don't use CleanHAR to:
- break the law, or collect anyone's passwords, tokens or personal data without permission
- upload malware, or files designed to harm CleanHAR or the people who view them
- test, probe or get around CleanHAR's security, sign-in or limits, unless we've agreed to it in writing
- overload the service, or access it with bots or scrapers
- send links to people who aren't your customers, or in bulk
We may suspend access that breaks these rules, and will tell you why where we can.
Our intellectual property
The CleanHAR name, website, app, software, designs, cleaning rules and written content belong to us and are protected by copyright and other laws. Using CleanHAR doesn't give you any ownership of them. You may not:
- copy, modify, or create works based on CleanHAR or any part of it
- reverse-engineer, decompile or take apart its code, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms
- use CleanHAR, or anything learned from accessing it, to build a competing product
- use the CleanHAR name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you
Some of CleanHAR's code runs in your browser so that cleaning happens on your customer's computer. That code is still ours, and these terms still apply to it.
Feedback
Pilot feedback is the whole point, and we're grateful for it. If you send ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve CleanHAR without owing you anything for them.
No guarantees
CleanHAR is provided "as is" during the pilot. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or right for your purpose, and we make no other warranties.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for CleanHAR in the 12 months before it. During the free pilot, that amount is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Ending
You can stop using CleanHAR at any time, and ask us to delete your team and its data by emailing hello@cleanhar.com. We may end the pilot or close accounts with reasonable notice, or straight away for serious misuse. The sections on your data, our intellectual property, no guarantees and liability continue after that.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters for pilot teams, we'll email them before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute goes to the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
